4. AI, Transcription, and Product Improvement

JetHealth may use automated systems, transcription tools, language models, AI tools, and related technologies, including authorized third-party AI or transcription providers, to provide and improve the service.

These tools may be used to transcribe audio, summarize visits, identify key topics, extract health-related categories, generate plain-language explanations, create clinical-style views, improve quality, reliability, safety, and usability, evaluate system performance, and test and develop new features, subject to applicable law, user choices, and the limitations described in this Privacy Policy.

AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading outputs. JetHealth outputs should be verified with appropriate healthcare providers before being used for medical decisions.

Where JetHealth shares personal data with third-party AI, transcription, analytics, or infrastructure providers, JetHealth will disclose material sharing in this Privacy Policy, seek permission where required, and require appropriate protections for user data.

5. De-Identified and Aggregated Information

5. De-Identified and Aggregated Information

JetHealth may create, use, disclose, license, or otherwise process de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated information for lawful purposes, including product improvement, AI evaluation, model testing, research, analytics, benchmarking, security, business planning, strategic partnerships, and development of current or future products and services, subject to applicable law, Apple policies, and user choices.

De-identified or aggregated information is information that is not reasonably linkable to an identifiable individual. JetHealth will not attempt to re-identify such information except as permitted by law, such as to test, validate, secure, or improve de-identification processes.

We do not currently sell identifiable patient health data or use identifiable patient health information for targeted advertising.

Users may contact legal@jethealth.ai to ask about available opt-out options for future use of de-identified data, where applicable and technically feasible.

To the extent de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated information is derived from Apple health, fitness, medical research, or other Apple framework data, JetHealth will not use or disclose that information for advertising, marketing, use-based data mining, or other prohibited purposes.

If JetHealth introduces materially different data practices in the future, such as optional advertising-supported plans, research programs, expanded third-party integrations, or data-sharing features, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice and/or obtain consent where required by law before those materially different practices apply.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate JetHealth, including providers of cloud hosting, authentication, transcription, AI processing, analytics, security, payment processing, customer support, email delivery, database services, error monitoring, app development, infrastructure, and legal, accounting, or compliance services.

These providers may process information on our behalf and subject to contractual, technical, or operational restrictions where appropriate. We expect service providers that receive user data to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy, Apple requirements, and applicable law.

7.5 De-Identified or Aggregated Data

We may share de-identified or aggregated information for lawful business, research, analytics, productdevelopment, or partnership purposes.

8. Data Retention

8. Data Retention

JetHealth retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, support users, improve the service, and satisfy backup, audit, fraud-prevention, or business-continuity needs.

Under the current JetHealth architecture, visit recordings and temporary processing data are designed to be retained only as long as needed to create the requested outputs, after which temporary processing files are designed to be deleted, subject to system, security, backup, legal, and operational requirements.

However, retention periods may vary depending on app version, beta status, user settings, device settings, Apple platform settings, cloud backup settings, account-deletion status, technical logs, legal requirements, serviceprovider processing, support needs, security needs, backup and disaster-recovery systems.

Deleting the app from your device may delete locally stored information, depending on device and app settings. It may not delete information stored in your account, backups, logs, beta systems, TestFlight systems, serviceprovider systems, or third-party systems. If JetHealth offers account creation in the app, JetHealth will provide a way to request or complete account deletion within the app or through an accessible account-deletion process where required by Apple policy or applicable law

9. User Controls and Choices

9. User Controls and Choices

Depending on your location, applicable law, and the version of JetHealth you use, you may have choices or rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain information or processing, withdraw or revoke certain permissions or consents, request account deletion where supported, opt out of certain communications, ask questions about data practices, request information about sharing or disclosure, or request opt-out from future de-identified dataset use where available.

To make a request, contact legal@jethealth.ai. You may also manage some permissions through iOS, watchOS, Apple account settings, device settings, App Store settings, or in-app settings where supported.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We may deny requests where permitted by law, including when necessary to protect security, comply with legal obligations, protect other users, maintain records, or prevent misuse

10. Security

10. Security

JetHealth uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information and prevent unauthorized use, disclosure, or access by third parties.

However, no method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, lost, destroyed, or misused.

Users should use strong passwords, protect their devices, keep operating systems updated, review device backup and iCloud settings, and avoid recording or uploading information they are unwilling to process through the service.

11. Apple App Store, Platform Permissions, HealthKit, Apple Health, and iCloud

11. Apple App Store, Platform Permissions, HealthKit, Apple Health, and iCloud

If JetHealth is distributed through Apple’s App Store or TestFlight, JetHealth will make this Privacy Policy available through App Store Connect metadata and in the app in an easily accessible manner where required.

JetHealth’s App Store privacy information, app description, screenshots, previews, and in-app disclosures are intended to accurately reflect the app’s data practices and core experience. If JetHealth’s data practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information where required.

JetHealth will request only permissions that are relevant to the features being used and will describe the purpose of permission requests in user-facing permission prompts or disclosures. Users may be able to revoke permissions through device settings or in-app settings where supported.

If JetHealth uses Apple health-related frameworks such as HealthKit, Clinical Health Records, Motion and Fitness, MovementDisorder APIs, Apple Watch, CloudKit, or similar Apple services, JetHealth will use information from those frameworks only for disclosed, authorized, and permitted purposes.

JetHealth will not use Apple health, fitness, medical research, or other Apple framework data for advertising, marketing, or use-based data mining, and will not write false or inaccurate data into HealthKit, Apple Health, or other health-management apps.

If JetHealth uses iCloud, CloudKit, device backup, or Apple account services, the availability, syncing, backup, retention, and deletion of data may depend on Apple settings and Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. JetHealth will design Apple-related storage and syncing features to comply with applicable Apple policies and user settings.

12. HIPAA

12. HIPAA

JetHealth is currently designed as a patient-directed tool for patients to record, organize, and use their own health information.

Because JetHealth is currently designed as a patient-directed app rather than a healthcare provider, health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or business associate acting on behalf of a covered entity, HIPAA may not apply to JetHealth in the same way it applies to covered entities or their business associates.

If JetHealth later enters into provider, payer, employer, enterprise, EHR, or healthcare-system relationships that require HIPAA compliance, business associate agreements, or additional safeguards, JetHealth may update its practices, terms, contracts, and policies accordingly.

JetHealth does not currently claim to be HIPAA compliant for all users, uses, or configurations unless expressly stated in writing for a specific offering. We avoid making blanket HIPAA-compliance claims unless and until they are verified for a specific product configuration, relationship, or use case.

13. Children and Minors

13. Children and Minors

JetHealth is not directed to children under 13.

If a parent or legal guardian uses JetHealth to record or manage health information for a minor child, the parent or guardian represents that they have the authority to do so and that they have obtained any consent required by law.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we may delete it. JetHealth is not intended for the App Store Kids Category unless expressly stated otherwise.

14. Recording Laws and Consent

14. Recording Laws and Consent

Users are responsible for complying with all recording, wiretapping, privacy, confidentiality, provider, facility, and consent laws or policies that apply to their use of JetHealth.

Recording laws vary by state, country, and situation. Some jurisdictions allow one-party consent. Others require all-party consent.

JetHealth encourages respectful disclosure and consent practices, especially in healthcare settings.

15. International Users

15. International Users

JetHealth is currently intended primarily for users in the United States unless otherwise stated.

If you access JetHealth from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

16. Communications

16. Communications

By providing your contact information, you may receive service-related communications, such as account messages, security notices, verification emails, product updates, beta communications, waitlist notifications, or support responses.

You may opt out of promotional communications where required by law, but you may still receive essential service or legal notices.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Changes are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of JetHealth after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, email, App Store update notes, inapp notices, or other reasonable means, and we may obtain consent where required by law.
